To make this project you will need: Empty toilet paper/paper towel tubes, scissors, glue (liquid or hot glue), hole puncher and string are optional .
1. Start by pressing the paper tube flat.
2. Cut the flattened tube into 1/2” slices.
3. Assemble the toilet paper tube petals into flower shapes (or any shape really!) and attach together with glue.
4. Allow glue to dry and punch holes in one of the petals of each flower.
5. String your flowers to form a garland and hang to add a little springtime joy to your home!
You can literally make anything you want with these little paper petals. My former 6th grade students used to create beautiful organic sculptures for our earth day celebration, my adaptive art classes would glue the petals to paper backgrounds and use watercolor paints to fill in the paper shapes with color! There are so many possibilities! Remember to share your art to your Artsonia Portfolio using Classroom Mode or Email Photos to allakath@shenschools.org
