Did you know that you can create your own liquid watercolor paints using old dried out markers?

Uncap old markers and place the felt tip in a jar or cup of water and allow to soak for some time. If you want brighter colors add several markers of the same color family to help make a more concentrated paint. When you paint with your watercolors, try sprinkling on some table salt onto the painted paper and watch how the salt creates a crystalized effect in your paints as they dry! Happy creating!
